MAN GUYS I CANT FIND ANYTHING ON THIS ANYMORE. Isnt petting a dog like giving them a bath. I read this somewhere a long time ago and now upon looking it up is nothing.
If my tub does not have a hose, is there a good way to thoroughly rinse their bellies? I have a problem with not getting all the shampoo out from that area. And I'm renting my place, so I can't install a hose in the bathroom.
I will say, you advise not to "spray into their ears" but did not show us how you rinsed the shampoo off his head. This is something I have yet to see be demonstrated in the videos I have watched. (I'm not here for learning that, but noticed you did not show what arguably is the MOST important and meticulous part of the process).
My german shepherd girl has a yeast infection or something because she stinks like rotten fritos all of a sudden in the past few days. Seeing as it's winter and there's a foot of snow outside, doing it outside is out of the question. I was going to bring her to one of those self serve dog grooming centers, but I'd feel terrible stinking that place up with her to be quite honest lol same goes for a professional groomer + the cheapest one I could find was around $120 for her. So here we are, about to bathe her in the tub and this came in handy. Thank you for this!
Cool and all, but I have a dog that becomes hysterical when I even try to get him in the bathroom. If the bathroom door is opened he even refuses to come in the apartment π
I don't have a dog tub Or a handheld shower in the bathtub in my bathroom and I always find it to be really ridiculous when people ask people that have never seen them before on YouTube with if your new and you like this video hit the like and subscribe before they have ever even seen the video.
I Was Thinking the same Thing To about My dog But she refuses not Too Take a Bath. It's just because she Doesn't like the Sound of the Shower and I don't Know what to Do But does anyone have any advice or tips that Could help me?
I came here because my Australian shepherd puppy who is 6 months old and already as big as an adult pitches such a fit and has even bitten us. He hates the hose! Tonight my husband washed him on the deck with a cloth and a bucket of water. When he tried to hose him he attacked the hose and bit my husband. I've had dogs all my life, rescues that i knew nothing about, and I've never seen anything like him. Maybe it's just the breed and his age. He's going to "college " next month praise God!π
I, unfortunately have to get into the shower with my dog to bath him. He refuses to get into the bath. He is a fully grown English Mastiff and lies flat on the floor when he sees the bath and there is no way I can lift him. So I convince him into the shower and get inside to shower him and get a shower at the same time. Still wouldn't change him for the world.
Adopted a big dog when we moved, the previous renters left her behind. I have no idea if they ever bathed her and I have no experience, but she needs it so I'm giving it a go. Thanks for the tips, I'll let you know how it goes π
My beagle sits still, perfectly. However; she hates turning clockwise for me. I have to stand over her to reach the opposite side of her body. It hurts my back. That's why I dread bath time in the home. Outdoors in warm weather, I love. I am not limited walking around her without space limitation.

My dog didn't go for the Peanut butter.
Amazing video, thanks for sharing!
Ok, but how do you get them into the tub in the first place?? Mine won't go in, not even with treats.
HELP!!! My dog had to be bathed often because of his allergies but he will not step up into the dog washing station!
Wait a sec! This is a cheat! You're using an actual dog bath. That alone cuts 80% of the effort to bathe a dog.

What a good dog
that dog is nowhere the whirling jumping tornado that I deal with at my home
My dog is huge, and hates her back end washed or brushed. She will sit, push against the wall…it's terrible. What do I do?
