Why do you separate them from the mum in an incubator and why not let the mum clean them?

Thanks for this video. Never heard of hand bottomming. Like the poo meter got me laughing. Ive always cleaned their bottoms with warm moist towels. Never new about folding them so they could poo. You are great glod find for me.
