Has Prince always been very quick to “mark his territory” with his urine? If so, has it become more frequent the older he gets?

Dudes hump things. I guess, being 63 relieves that need for me.

It is fun to watch dogs play. My intact German Shepherd/Black Lab would so much enjoy making friends, but he has never had the opportunity to play.

Joel, your recall method just saved my brother’s 9 month old whippet puppy. He exited through an accidentally open gate, and the tracker on his collar notified him. I had recommended your channel for raising the best possible dog, and sure enough, he came back. No small feat for a sighthound puppy. You are teaching LIFE SAVING skills on your channel. We are grateful.

Hi do you have a video on how to train dogs around young kids. My friend has a staffy and I notice he goes to knock them over especially toddlers and he goes lick there face an can attempt to nipp theirs ears. He gets really excited as if he thinks they're a play toy. I immediately ask for him to be put outside as I can see he does not have that awareness around kids. I also notice kids can't freely run around him because if he knocks them over, he will jump on them. What are the steps you would take?.

Do you have a video, that helps with dogs outside anxiety. My family and I keep running into a scenario where we'll be taking the dog for a walk and my mom (my dogs chosen person) will need to pop into the store real quick. But while my dog and I are waiting outside, she'll get super antsy and start pacing, barking, biting on the leash and pulling, and will not listen to anything I'm saying. I was wondering if you have a way to deal with that?

5:48 no what you want is no humping at all. I’d say Duke is too intense in these moments and shouldnt be loose with the husky at that moment. Too much for his body and the husky isn’t matching his energy so duke humps. Also a much bigger field is needed, the small space forces them to interact when they aren’t ready. Duke needs a big field to run of his energy and excitation and the husky needs it to be able to run up his excitment to dukes level.

yeah should also talk about how intact dogs are way healthier and there is no real reason to get dogs fixed and that most other countries actually won't let you do it without a medical reason the US is just crap. female dogs yes because of Pyometra

Something to note. Intact males often get confused by neutered males. The scents are off, the behavior is off.
Neutered males are often the target of mounting behavior, over-sniffing, licking of genitals, dominance displays, etc.

Me, personally, I am completely against removing the testicles of a living being. I can understand it in farming, but never for pets.
If you have to remove its testicles, its just too much dog for you.

My dachshund encountered dogs that do the shoulder touching and she didn't understand it at all, at first. It's just something doxies can't do. She understands it's not a threat by now though.

It's so true that most male dogs hate un-neutered male dogs. My white GSD is no neutered. He is very well behaved, social and gets along with all dogs and animals however most male dogs hate him and just want to kill him without any provocation. He could habe tons of friends if he was neutered BUT he is perfect and I feel neutering him will make him insecure. He is just an excellent dog and I will not neuter him because others are too lazy to train their dogs. But he has a few friends (female and male) so all is good

Im a Little sad that you still get dogs with cut ears and tail… in germany it’s forbidden as animal cruelty to even have a dog with that… I think you’re a big idol to a lot of people and should think about that….
I have to say I like how you are with the dogs but do you really need your dogs to go through that just to have a certain look?:/
